Welding machine electrodes

Working components for resistance welding. We select the design to suit the process, the material being welded and the joint geometry.

Welding machine electrodes

MANUFACTURING SCOPE

From requirement
to component.

Depending on customer requirements, we offer welding machine electrodes made from various material groups. The most commonly used are:

  • Group A2 – copper alloys with high conductivity and moderate hardness, such as CuCr1, CuCr1Zr and CuZr. They are ideal for applications requiring high current conduction while maintaining suitable mechanical durability.
  • Group A3 – alloys with higher hardness but lower electrical conductivity, such as CuCo2Be, CuCoNiBe and CuNi2Si, used under more demanding operating conditions.
  • Group B – materials with exceptional wear resistance, such as tungsten, molybdenum and their alloys with copper, used mainly for welding highly electrically conductive components such as copper wires.

Our material variety and production flexibility allow us to offer electrodes suited to every type of welding machine and manufacturing process.

High-quality spot welding electrodes

Spot welding electrodes require high precision and materials with suitable physical and chemical properties from the manufacturing stage onwards. We therefore use only proven raw materials from reputable, qualified suppliers. Before entering our warehouse, all materials undergo rigorous quality control, including property testing, particularly hardness and electrical conductivity, with values specified in the material standards.

Welding machine electrodes are manufactured in accordance with industry standards or technical documentation supplied by the customer. Where documentation is unavailable, we can develop a design based on supplied samples or components. Our experience and individual approach to each order allow us to fulfil even the most unusual requirements.

Spot welding electrodes fulfil a key function in metal joining processes, as weld stability and the durability of the entire structure depend on their quality. Properly selected spot welding electrodes ensure suitable current conduction and optimum heat dissipation, resulting in clean, repeatable and strong joints. Our range includes different electrode types to suit the characteristics of the material concerned. The high-strength copper alloys we use to manufacture spot welding electrodes ensure resistance to wear and deformation even under intensive use. As a result, the spot welding electrodes we offer provide high operating efficiency and significantly reduce the maintenance costs of the entire production process.
